For Jake and Sean, real estate has never really been just about houses.
Sean’s love for homes started early. As a kid, he would convince his parents to spend weekends driving around to open houses, usually with an argument prepared for why they should move. By 19, he had his real estate license, and in 2011 he began his career in new construction. What started as a fascination with homes eventually became something much bigger: a love for the people behind them.
Jake came to real estate from a different direction. After studying theater and film at USC, his career was rooted in storytelling and understanding people. He earned his real estate license in 2018, joined forces with Sean, and the Realtor Hubbies were born. That background still shapes the way Jake approaches real estate today. Every home has a story, every move marks a chapter, and good marketing is about making people feel something.
Together, Jake and Sean have closed more than $150 million in real estate and helped roughly 300 families buy and sell homes throughout Utah. They have consistently been recognized among the top-producing agents in the state, including Utah’s REALTOR® 500 and RealTrends recognition.
Their business spans Salt Lake and Utah Counties, along with Park City, the Wasatch Back and surrounding communities. Their experience ranges from helping first-time buyers navigate a market that can feel overwhelming to representing some of Utah’s most distinctive luxury properties. Regardless of price point, their approach stays the same.
Be responsive. Have a plan. Tell the truth. Negotiate hard. And remember that there are real people and real lives attached to every decision.
Sean brings a strategic mind to the business and an instinct for reading people that has made him a strong negotiator and a trusted presence on both sides of a transaction. He cares about more than getting a deal done. He wants the decision to make sense financially, fit the life his clients are building and still feel like the right move years later.
Jake brings an eye for presentation, a background in storytelling and an ability to connect with people in a way that makes the process feel personal. Whether he is marketing a home or helping someone figure out what comes next, his goal is for clients to remember not only the result, but how they felt getting there.
That combination has built a business largely through relationships, referrals and clients who become friends long after the keys change hands.
Outside of real estate, Jake and Sean are husbands, dads to five-year-old triplets and longtime Utah residents who have built their own life around the idea of home. They share pieces of that life online as the Realtor Hubbies and through their family platforms, from home projects and travel to parenting and the occasional real estate video that involves more dancing than most brokerages would probably recommend.
At the end of the day, they believe real estate should be both smart and personal. The numbers matter. The negotiation matters. The marketing matters. But so does finding the place that just feels right.
Because a home isn't simply where you live. It's where the next part of your life happens.
Sean has been obsessed with real estate for about as long as he can remember.
As an eight-year-old, he was already asking his parents to drive him around to open houses and making his case for why they should move. By 19, he had earned his real estate license. In 2011, he began his career working in new construction, turning something he had always loved into the career his family had pretty much predicted for him all along.
More than fifteen years later, what keeps Sean in real estate has changed. He still loves a beautiful home, but these days, it's the people that matter most.
Sean has built his business by being the person clients can call, text and count on when the stakes feel high. He is strategic, direct and highly responsive, with a reputation for finding a path forward when a transaction gets complicated. His ability to read people and understand what matters to the other side has also made negotiation one of his greatest strengths.
Together with his husband and business partner, Jake, Sean has helped roughly 300 families and closed more than $150 million in real estate throughout Utah. Their work has earned consistent recognition among the state's top-producing real estate professionals, including Utah’s REALTOR® 500 and RealTrends recognition.
Sean represents buyers and sellers throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties, Park City, the Wasatch Back and surrounding communities, with experience ranging from first homes to multimillion-dollar properties.
For him, the goal is never simply to get someone under contract.
A home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will ever make, and Sean wants his clients to look back ten or fifteen years later and still believe they made a smart one. That means understanding the numbers, knowing when to push, knowing when to walk away and sometimes trusting the feeling you get when you walk through the front door.
Because after all these years, Sean still believes the best home isn't always the one that checks every box.
Sometimes, you just know.

Jake came to real estate through storytelling.
Before earning his real estate license in 2018, he studied theater and film at USC, developing a fascination with human stories and the things that make people feel something. It might not sound like the obvious path into real estate, but it has become one of the biggest influences on the way he approaches the business.
Because selling a home is, in many ways, telling its story.
Jake has built a reputation for looking beyond square footage and a list of features to understand what makes a property special, how someone lives there and how to make the next person see themselves in it. His background in storytelling, marketing and social media gives him a different perspective on presenting homes, particularly in a world where a buyer's first showing often happens through a screen.
But the part of real estate Jake loves most has very little to do with marketing.
It's the people.
After earning his license, Jake joined forces with his husband, Sean, and together they became known as the Realtor Hubbies. They have since helped roughly 300 families and closed more than $150 million in real estate throughout Utah, earning consistent recognition among the state's top-producing real estate professionals.
Jake approaches each move as more than a transaction. Buying or selling a home usually means something else is changing too. A relationship. A career. A family. A dream someone has been working toward for years. Sometimes it's exciting. Sometimes it's incredibly hard. Usually, it's a little of both.
His job is to understand that story and help his clients get where they're trying to go.
Jake wants the people he works with to be happy when they get the keys or leave the closing table, of course. But more importantly, he wants them to look back ten or fifteen years from now and still feel good about the decision they made.
And maybe even more than that, he wants them to remember how they felt while making it.
For Jake, that's the part of real estate that lasts.
